Abstract

This study presents preliminary observations and findings about the status of values in university projects. It provides ideas that aim to help in the construction of a comprehensive vision for integrating values into university projects and to raise awareness of their importance for the improvement of teaching and research (with the hope that this will provide researchers and scholars the opportunity to further investigate components of this vision). The study proposes rules and principles that should help develop this organizing vision and make the issue of values an essential element of university projects in a harmonious, rationalized manner: whether relating to their visions, missions, or goals; and whether in the field of teaching or research, or at the level of governance, management, and administration. In addition, the study presents educational and legal options conducive to the practical application of this project.
