Abstract

Jamal Abu Hassan’s article is an attempt to study the relationship between human beings and Jinn, demonstrating the truth and exposing the falsity in it by using the Qur’an as a guide; this being a correct approach to thematic studies.  The article examines hadith texts and unsubstantiated narrations that were induced into Qur'anic exegesis (tafsīr) and which necessitate examination of its factuality and clarification of its content.  The article is divided into the following themes: Satan’s enmity towards human beings, the flounder of consuming ribā (usury) by temptation from Satan, sources of satanic possession narratives, and a conclusion presenting the results of the research.
