Abstract
Mustafa Elian’s article examines the title of the ten-volume series by Dr. Ma'moun Jarrar on the lives of righteous men and two volumes on the lives of righteous women. The research utilizes a theoretical premise to identify the semiotics and its foundational standpoints, and an analogical (hermeneutic) and deconstructive methodology of addressing it. It then discusses the signification of the title (which consists of five significations: images, situation, from, life, and righteous), composition and intertextuality. It concludes with the results and a summary of the research.
