سبق المحدثين في استخدام مناهج البحث العلمي: الحكم على الرواة نموذجاً: Pioneering Role of Early Hadith Scholars' in Utilizing Scientific Research: Qualifying the Narrators As a Model

Abstract

يحاول هذا البحث أن يثبت أنَّ علماء المسلمين في عهود التدوين، كان لهم السبق في ابتكار القواعد المنهجية، وأن عملية الحكم على رواة الحديث النبوي كانت تعتمد على هذه القواعد، بعيداً عن الهوى والتشهي والأغراض السيئة. إنّ تعامل العلماء اليوم في أبحاثهم بطريقة مختلفة لما عليه علماء الحديث في الأمس، لا يلغي أسبقية علماء الأمس في هذا الميدان، فذلك شأن كل العلوم؛ إذ بدأت ملامحها عامة وخطوطها عريضة، ثم وضِّحت وفصِّلت وقنّنت مع تطور الزمن وتظافر الجهود.

ويهدف البحث إلى بيان ملامح المنهجية العلمية في جهود البحث عن أحوال الرواة، مع محاولة ربط الجانب التأصيلي بالجانب التطبيقي، ممثلاً لذلك بنماذج من مناهج علمية ذائعة الصيت كالتحليل والمقارنة والاستقراء.

This study demonstrates that early Muslim Scholars in the ‘Documentation Period’ had the lead in formulating methodological rules, and that the process of judging the Hadith narrators was based on these rules rather than mere whims and opinions. The difference in contemporary scholars' research methodology from that of early Hadith scholars does not rule out that earlier scholars have had the lead in this field. It is a rather similar process in all sciences in which features start out broad and general, then are detailed, clarified, and codified with the development of time and concerted efforts.

The study highlights the features of scientific method in research efforts to discern the conditions of narrators, in theory and in practice, using well-known models of scientific methods such as analysis, induction and comparison.
