Abstract
Hmoud Oleimat’s article begins with a theoretical introduction of culture and Islamic culture, describing both terms. It then discusses the elements that constitute moral and material culture, cultural issues such as personality and identity, cultural consistency, and then addresses the nature of globalization and its manifestations and challenges, such as hegemony, artificial homogeneity, challenge of self and identity, and exposing the ills of societies. It concludes with the manifestation of conscious responses on both the intellectual level (such as self-confidence, highlighting the universality of Islam its humanism, reviving heritage, methodological identification of the relationship with the West, and awareness of cultural diversity) and the scientific level (such as deepening social work, positive contribution in the march of human civilization, and joint action with positive and good forces in the world).
