Abstract
Ali Jubran’s article discusses the educational dimension of Ibn Khaldūn's thought. It is a critical analytical study aimed at demonstrating the main features of the methodological and epistemological dimensions of educational thought in Ibn Khaldūn's Muqadimmah, focusing on the following themes: human nature and its role in building civilization, the reality of the educator and the educated, knowledge and learning, sciences and their classifications, ʿumrān (human civilizational development), rationality, necessity, the educational process, curriculum, objectives, content, language, the private and public educational system, educational institutions, and the environment and its impact on knowledge, education, and learning. It concludes by demonstrating Ibn Khaldūn’s distinction in education.
