Abstract
Souad Kourime’s article attempts to emphasize the exclusivity of the notion of “concept,” and defend its entitlement to a separate study that sets it in line with its nature, and demonstrate the intellectual value of the conceptual study. The article discusses the following themes: the logical definition and terminological study; between the conceptual study and the terminological study; features of the conceptual study; and the methodological function of the conceptual study. It concludes that the two main findings of the study do not lead to a total proficiency regarding the notion of “concept” and the methodology of its study, because they lack a binding authority.
