الملخص
Hanan Hammouda’s article examines three poems by some of the most prominent contemporary Muslim poets: Nabilah al-Khatib, Oudeh Abu Oudeh, and Hassan al-Amrani. The article examines the poems to search for facets of similarities and differences in content and structure, and to arrive at an answer to the questions posed: Was Islam a unifying element for the similarities in three poems composed by three different authors? Is the feminine poem different than others? Does poetry from the Arab West (Maghrib) differ from Eastern Arab writings? To answer these questions and arrive at the facets of similarities and differences between poets, the article addresses two main themes: content and components, and construction and composition.
